Wirksworth Swimming Pool Trustees and staff would like to invite anyone with an interest in the pool’s long-term future to attend the first ever Friends of Wirksworth Swimming Pool meeting on Wednesday 25th September 2013 at 7pm in Wirksworth Town Hall. Wirksworth Swimming Pool is set to get a new lease of life thanks to a team of committed local residents. Thanks to a group of residents the outlook now looks bright for the future of Wirksworth swimming pool – following Derbyshire Dales District Council’s (DDDC) decision to review the management and governance of the pool.
