Wirksworth Swimming Pool is set to get a new lease of life thanks to a team of committed local residents. Thanks to a group of residents the outlook now looks bright for the future of Wirksworth swimming pool – following Derbyshire Dales District Council’s (DDDC) decision to review the management and governance of the pool. Since 2009 Rural Action Derbyshire (RAD) and Derbyshire Dales CVS (DDCVS) have been reviewing usage of the pool, community support and the options for operating it.
