We’ve said it before, but we can’t repeat enough our gratitude to our Friends of Wirksworth Swimming Pool.
The Friends of WSP have been working tirelessly this year to raise money for the pool.
They might be a small team, but what they lack in numbers they make up for in commitment and enthusiasm.
From baking brownies to selling raffle tickets and organising a bingo night. Their fundraising activities have been many and varied.
Their last activity, a bag packing session at Sainsbury’s in Matlock, raised a wonderful £302.
We’re all looking forward to the next event, a fashion show at Anthony Gell School on Wednesday 16th July – for more details please call in at the pool reception.
